Injection moulding (medium to large volume supply)
For over 12 years, One Nine Manufacturing has built a trusted partnership with our specialist injection mould tooling manufacturer in China, giving us access to high-quality, competitively priced tooling backed by our UK-based design and engineering expertise. Our preferred route is to ship completed mould tools to the UK for production with one of our long-standing local injection moulding partners. This approach combines competitive tooling costs with the quality, flexibility, shorter supply chains and close production control of UK manufacture.
Metal components (CNC, die casting & press metal)
We have also developed a long-standing partnership with our specialist metal manufacturing team in China, covering CNC machining, die casting and metal presswork. Their capabilities extend across a wide range of metals and aluminium grades, with comprehensive finishing options including anodising, brushing and powder coating. We typically retain production tooling in China, allowing us to take advantage of their established manufacturing expertise, competitive costs and efficient production, while One Nine provides the UK-based design, engineering and quality oversight our customers expect.
Engineering Support
Our engineering support services include design for manufacturing, ensuring that your products are optimized for production. We collaborate with you at every stage to enhance manufacturability, reduce costs and shorten time to market. Using the latest SolidWorks technology, including advanced Simulation and FEA tools, we can validate designs, assess structural performance and identify potential issues before committing to tooling and production.
